“STERCO” longitudinal Seam Welding Machine is designed & manufactured conforming to IS 4804 and RWMA Standard.

These machines are available in nominal stan. dard ratings of 50, 75, 100, 150, 200, 250 KVA at 50% duty cycles. They can be used for the production of pressure type seam welds in all types of containers and also for producing runs of precisely Spaced spol welds at high speed. Machines can be successfully used for the seam welding of a variety of materials including mild and stainless steel, aluminium, galvanised steel, tin plate etc.

Fully Solid State Electronic controls are available for using with the machine in order to obtain consistant and accurate weld results on a wide range of sheet metal.

CONSTRUCTION:
Sturdy, all welded steel plate fabricated suitably braced and stiffened at points of stress. Transformer fitted inside the body and upper electrode arm directly mounted on to the body. The pneumatic controls are mounted on the side of the machine. All Internal parts are easily accessible. Control stations mounted on the machine are clearly visible and within easy reach of the operator.

WELDING TRANSFORMER:
Transformer, of a special type, conforming to IS 4804 Part-1 1968 and RWMA Standard, Water cooled, having core of high grade electrical steel, primary and secondary coils of solid electrolytic copper of ample section, heavy duty class ‘F’ insulated, vacuum impragnated suitable for with-standing conti-nuously a temperature of 155°C,

COOLING SYSTEM:
